Old Country Sausage German Deli… one of Nampa, Idaho’s not-so-secret treasures!! If you’ve been following the antics of the Treasure Valley Dave team, you probably know that this place is one of my favorite go-to places! The people are great… the food is great… and it’s right here in Nampa!
What’s going on this time? They are looking at adding some dishes to the menu and wanted to know what their customers thought… so they had a taste-testing event! It was very scientific… we voted using technology and they helped us technology-challenged folks figure it out.

Treasure Valley Dave's Thoughts
I initially found Old Country Sausage German Deli when I started on my health-kick after my heart issue several years ago. I know you might be thinking “you should only eat tofu and oatmeal.” Turns out the best thing for your diet is meat and good fats. And that’s exactly what are in the sausages (and jerky) here… no fillers, no preservatives… and it’s made right here on-site.
It was my health-journey that brought me in the door… and it was the variety of goods, the awesome meals, and the friendly faces that keep me coming back.
I’m really excited about the exclusive taste-testing events that began last week and will likely become a regular thing. It’s just fun!!
