Look at Previous Blogs You May Have Missed:

In the first blog article, I check out downtown Caldwell and some of the fun things that go on there!  In the accompanying video on the blog I look at some sweet rides at the car show and then an enjoying time watching the Spongebob musical!  It was really pretty darn good!

Then in the second blog article, I address that pressing question from the internet, Is Caldwell the Worst Place in Idaho?  In the accompanying video you can see that I take our mobile camera unit around to various parts of town lookin’ for the trouble spots.  Did I find any?

Caldwell, Idaho - Photo Dump:

I recently created a Photo Gallery on my website because I always ended up with lots of extra pictures from whenever I would go out.  I share these with you so you can get a real life, warts and all, look at the Treasure Valley.

My Caldwell visit mainly captures the downtown vibe.  Notice just how clean and pleasant it is!  Picking flowers is always a ton of fun… and a reminder displayed on the kitchen table for a couple of weeks after!  Recently I enjoyed all the vendors and events at the Indian Creek Plaza celebrating Mothers Day!

Informative Videos about Caldwell, Idaho:

Early this Spring, I wanted to see how sleepy downtown Caldwell has survived the Winter.  Looks like they’re doin’ just fine and ready for all the fun stuff!

I did a follow-up video addressing just how Caldwell is the armpit of Idaho.  Is the internet chatter all blown out of proportion?  Now you can find out for real!

A really fun thing about Caldwell is that it’s an old town with a rich history.  Some of the neighborhoods are 80 to 100 years old.  Many of these “mid-century” homes, as they are called, are very close to their original condition.  It’s always fun to tour these when they come on the market.  Could you love living in this one?

Treasure Valley Dave's Thoughts

Little country-flavored Caldwell, Idaho is a snapshot in time.  The old-fashioned homes and tree-lined streets showcase a century of work and play and a community of good folks.  Yes, Caldwell isn’t the small agricultural and railstop it used to be.  Ag still plays a starring role but tech and education and industry of all types call Caldwell home now.  And, after a hard day’s work, Caldwell offers great places to eat and relax and just have fun with friends and family.

When you’re planning your fact-finding trip to the Treasure Valley, be sure to check out Caldwell for yourself.  And if you’re thinkin’ that moving here might be the thing to do, just let Mareen and me know when you’re coming and we’ll spend some time together exploring the Treasure Valley!  Just call, text, email or smash that Contact Us button and let’s get connected!  Maybe we can do lunch too!  🙌
