Another great annual Nampa Festival of the Arts event… otherwise known at Art in the Park! This time, the 39th annual gathering of many great artists, vendors, musicians and truck food!

The Parks and Recreation Department offers the Nampa Festival of the Arts event for approximately 200 artisans. With the great variety of art, you are sure to find a treasure, whether it is jewelry, painting, sculpture, whimsical yard art, or something else. Live entertainment, food concessions, and free activities for children, including a kid’s art booth, will keep the whole family entertained. Admission and parking are free.

Treasure Valley Dave's Thoughts
I always enjoy coming to Nampa’s annual Festival of the Art held at Lakeview Park. I always see someone I know who is also getting a kick out of all the fun things going on! There’s wonderful artwork of all kinds (paintings, woodworking, metal art, and more!), great truck food (you know the smells!), and great people to talk with!
Unfortunately for this 2026 event, the air was still thick with smoke from weeks of wildfires going on in the western parts of Idaho and throughout the entire eastern half of Oregon. The smoke was not only ugly but also a health hazard. I didn’t stay out in it for long… but I was encouraged by the community spirit of all the visitors, participants and vendors who still made this an awesome event!
(Update: the smoke is gone now and we have blue skies again and big puffy white clouds!)
