Helping Others… the Idaho Way?

When you’re in a jam… help is on the way. So good to be in Idaho!

Folks in Idaho are just so helpful and giving!

Have you ever had one of those days? Wake up to a flat tire. A big nail just happened to find it’s way to my tire! Could I even air it up? Would it even make it to the repair shop? Where would I even take it? Is it going to break the budget?

Fortunately I’m of an age where I learned my automotive repair skills from watching TV… and Herman Munster taught me how to quickly air up a tire! Well shoot… it actually worked! And that Juicy Fruit I had been working on seemed to hold air… at least enough to get to the shop.

Ended up taking our sweet ride to Les Schwab here in Nampa. I had the option to just drop it off and come back later or I could wait. It’s a first-come, first-served system there. I could have stayed and just snacked on their free popcorn (very tasty!) or I could just have walked right across the street for a quick lunch.

Treasure Valley Dave's Thoughts

The good folks there at Les Schwab were able to repair the tire… they didn’t try to up-sell me on anything. In fact, the cost for the repair was nothing… absolutely free! No paperwork… just, “have a great day!” I don’t know if that’s the Les Schwab way… or if it’s the Idaho way… but whatever it is, Les Schwab is sure a good fit for Idaho. I’ll be back again… to get another flat tire fixed or when it’s time for a whole new set of rubber!
