Have you taken a minute to check out the treasures at the Big Box Outlet Store in Nampa, Idaho? There are so many things you didn’t know you need… but can’t live without!
Searching for good deals is half the fun!
What a wonderland for things you didn’t know you needed! This place, The Big Box Outlet Store, is where digging for your treasure is half the fun! I stopped in at this new Nampa store and checked it out. Have you been yet?
So the way it works… everything is one price but that price changes day by day. On the weekend, when all the new stuff comes out, things are $7. During the week, prices drop every day until you get to 50 cent Friday. You can check out their website or their Facebook page for current updates.
What’s YOUR strategy? Go in strong on the weekends and get the new stuff? Or wait a few days and hope some of those great things are still available but at a cheaper price? I know… kind of a wild concept. You can use your best strategy… or just count on luck. This is the first bin-barn that I’ve seen in the area. However, these are popular back East. When visiting family in Missouri I was exposed to this kind of a retail store. Very popular back in that area!
I lingered around the book section and found three I couldn’t live without. I was ready to pay my $3 a book… as it was Wednesday… but turns out that books are only 50 cents any day of the week! I was ready to spend 10 big ones and got out of there for about a buck and a half!
You might remember this building at the old K-mart building in Nampa… across the street from the Karcher Mall. The building has been sitting vacant for a few years and still looks a little dingy on the outside. The inside, however, is bright and clean and spacious.

My friend and I stopped in here on a whim… not really expecting anything much (judging by the outside of the building). We were pleasantly surprised inside and got right into searching and searching bin after bin. It’s fun… I’ll find something that I didn’t know I needed but, turns out, is exactly what I needed! Go enjoy this place yourself and let me know what you think!
