Quick Lunch or Whole Pizza to Share...
One of my favorite spots for lunch with clients out looking at homes or to hang out with friends is Messenger Pizza in downtown Nampa. Why? Because it’s fast, good, fun and easy on the budget! Fun… how is it fun? Because of all the cool atmosphere… the eclectic feel and the bright colors and the harkening back to simpler times.
Messenger Pizza is known for its pizza-by-the-slice selection for a quick meal. I suggest throwing in a cookie or something sweet. Maybe check out the pesto rolls, baguettes and artisan breads! They’ve got about a zillion different drinks but their house tea is to die for!
What else do I like about Messengers? I value that all their baked good are made right there and that they use fresh, organic and local produce when available. Local beers and wines are also on hand. But if you’re in a party mood, get a couple of their 24 inch pizza pies to-go and all your party-goers will be super satisfied!
Treasure Valley Dave's Thoughts
Downtown Nampa continues to nurture this vibe of excitement… and I think Messenger Pizza has been on the cutting edge of this for many years. The rest of downtown is catching up… and the farmers market is just about half-a-block away. This place is a good fit for the future of Nampa. And don’t forget, it’s really dang good pizza too!
