I recently sat down with a Kirsten and learned why her family left California and how life has been in her new home of Idaho. She wanted the best experience for her children and that included homeschooling… and Kirsten wants the best future for kids and grandkids and for Idaho too!
What can people escaping liberal states with all their political and societal challenges do to make sure Idaho continues on the path of freedom and accountability? Find out what Kirsten is doing as a great example of what you can do too!
Talked About Homeschooling; Political Action
Kirsten began homeschooling while still in California; providing her kids a tailored educational experience that allowed their individual personalities, skills and desires to build to a rewarding future. Isn’t public education in Idaho better? Turns out that liberal influences are targeted at students via public education… even in Idaho.
Kirsten suggests homeschooling parents consider joining HSLDA (Home School Legal Defense Association) as an added layer of protection.
Kirsten and I also reflected on the great locally produced food choices that we have here in the Treasure Valley. Kirsten reckons that the Nampa Farmers Market is the best in the state… I agree with her on that!
Kirsten likes that she can get raw milk here… something that was akin to a controlled substance back in California.
I offered that The Farmhouse Front Porch is great for raw milk and other local produce, honey and sourdough bread.
I often get asked, ‘With all these Californians moving to Idaho, what’s to keep Idaho from turning into California?’
Great question… one I asked Kirsten. She DID NOT want Idaho to ‘turn Blue’ so she got involved. Idaho is overwhelmingly Republican and a check against political commie influence is best addressed by influencing the Idaho Republican Party; vetting or being a conservative candidate, helping conservative candidates get into office, and help set the Party Platform.
Do conservative Republicans, whether native Idahoans or just moved from some liberal state, actually make a difference in Idaho politics? Overwhelmingly… YES! The recent Party convention enthusiastically elected a strongly conservative leadership team who are as capable as they are motivated to make Idaho ever more free!

"They" Want Marijuana in Idaho...
Kirsten and I also talked about the liberal efforts against the conservative nature of Idaho; be it abortion, indoctrination of kids in public schools, and the effects of marijuana legalization on Idaho. I recently talked with a law-enforcement retiree from Colorado who shares his experience with the negative effects of legal weed on crime, government and society.

So many folks who are escaping some liberal-run city, region or state and who are considering moving to Idaho are seriously concerned and want to know if “Idaho is going to turn into California?”. No doubt that’s a question that Kirsten and her family asked as they saw first-hand the destruction liberalism brought to the once-great state of California.
Kirsten and many of my past clients and friends were not satisfied with just sitting around to wait and see what happens… NO! They all got involved in Idaho politics to ensure that patriotism, accountability, freedom and traditional American values embodied the future of Idaho for generations to come.
